I spent last weekend at Growth Summit 2017. It’s a 3 day conference and people came from all over the world to attend. Luckily it was here in Phoenix and G and I were able to attend for the cost of a single ticket. There was a rainbow that morning and I took it as a good omen. Rainbow Omen

So many masters of their field were there; Larry King, Harvey Mackay, Chris and Heidi Powell. It felt good to be in a room with so much energy. It’s not often I find myself in a room surrounded by people who have such desire for personal development. Like: wanna sit around and talk about it constantly. They gave us beautiful black journals and I had over 30 pages of notes by the end.

Some of my favorites from my growth book:

Clarity comes from a higher level of ambition. – Brendon Burchard

If it is to be it is up to me. – Harvey Mackay

The more discipline you have, the more freedom you have. – Brendon Burchard

ahhhh…I love a good quote!

I’ve been following Brendon Burchard for about 5 years and it’s a dream come true to see him live. He’s a high performance guru and I’m certain he functions at an alien level. My favorite book of his is called The Charge: Activating the 10 Human Drives That Make You Feel Alive.

He’s known for studying the habits of high performers and he puts all that knowledge together in his newest book, High Performance Habits: How Extraordinary People Become That Way.

The amount of energy he brings to the stage is awe inspiring. He started the Summit by saying that if we’re ever lucky enough to speak on a stage such as this, not to stand at the back.

Because life is lived at the front of the stage.

Ain’t that the truth. My whole life I’ve been trying to fly under the radar, trying to hide even though it’s impossible to.

Life is lived at the front of the stage. It’s lived out in the open where there’s comings and goings, where you have the obligation to interact. There’s no hiding in a vibrant life.

No amount of lurking in the shadows will make your light less bright. So you may as well come out and shine.
